STUDIO SALE 2025

Dear patrons and clients and friends – I want to thank you for for the public activation of my work. It has been a wonderful experience making clothing and having you choose to wear it. It’s been so exciting and fulfilling for me to know that the work has a dynamic life of its own beyond my studio. Thank you for making this happen.

POST INDUSTRIAL FOLK WEAR: handmade street wear. The garments are made of what looks like crumpled paper, but is actually hard structure Tyvek (c), collaged with building materials and hardware notions, and paint. They are featherweight, wind proof, water resistant, adaptable, great for travel and they came in their own small bag. Designed to be an urban camouflage of sorts.

To see other projects I’ve been up to visit and follow me at http://www.marianschoettle.com, fb mau-conceptual clothing, and @mau-studio.
